Ramsey Jr High Ninth Grade Photo

Jean Lindgren Moskalik unearthed this gem.

If you were a Ramsey Jr High student, do you remember standing on the bleachers in 1961?  You will be amazed how many faces you'll recognize in this photo.

The Grist was our school newspaper and was named after the huge stone wheel used to grind wheat into flour during the milling process. The Grist presented world events from a student perspective and covered student issues, activities and humor.  It was staffed by students under the direction of a faculty advisor.

Special editions of the Grist have been produced to commemorate school anniversaries, and the pdf files can be downloaded here.
