I still live in small town Iowa with a large lot and 2 children.  After 23 years of marriage I finally got a divorce and have lived blisfully for 15 with only my grand cat.  My son graduated in 2000 and went to Fordham University in the Bronx , New York.  He graduated the same day as my daughter from High School. She had preupped in the Marines in her junior year and was sent to Defense Language Institute in Montery, California.  (Now there's a place to visit!)  After that she went to a special schooling in Texas and became some sort of a Russian spy.  As she says, "If I tell you I have to kill you".  After 5 years in the Marines she quit and joined the Air Force reserves and still works for them.  A year ago she decided to return to school and is currently at Fordam and will be a senior this year.  My son is currently in Taiwan getting his master instructorship in teaching scuba diving.  He has his own company in finacial marketing design and had enough air miles to travel around the world - so why not?  He took me to Austrailia and Tazmania as a retirement present, another great place to visit.  I've learned that I love to get away from this Iowa winter weather and have gone to South Beach and Panama the last two years and am hoping to find something in Puerto Rico this winter; as long as it's warm, near the water and I don't have to go far to get food, I'm happy.  When I was young and wanted to be older, this was certainly not what I wanted to be.  (Irony is not the opposite of wrinkly - I have them both!) I'm fat and sassy and enjoying life as it comes to me.  I was a Speech-Language Pathologist for 39 years and that was about 4 years too long. I like not having people yell at me or doing all the paper work the government keeps creating.  As the saying goes, if you can , you teach.  If you can't, you write laws about it.  I currently work part-time at Sam's Club in Council Bluffs; yes, I'm one of those little old ladies who hand out samples at Sam's.  Here's hoping that life's blessings have come your way and you have the peace that you've earned.

Married Mike Blair [Class of 1962] in 1966.  He put me through my last two years of the school of nursing at the Uof M.  Two children born 1970 and 1973.   Worked in many areas, hospitals and public health from 1968 - 1988.  Got my first parrot in 1989 and  my second in 1990.  Started working for the parrot breeder in 1990.  Had 7 pairs of his birds at our house for 12 years. Hatched and fed 10 baby greenwings in 2004.  All my birds had contracted knemidocoptic mites.  I gave him his pairs back and spent the next ten years trying to treat my own birds.  No vet could diagnose or treat this insidious pest that was known as depluming mite over 130 years ago.  This apparently can only be treated with pure sulfur, a substance the pharmaceutical companies can't charge you for.  By the time I discovered this  it was too late to cure my beloved birds.  The baby,  Petal was put to sleep in Jan. 2014  That took up 25 years of my life.  Mike retired last year, and we  spend most of our summer at our summer cabin in Pequot Lakes. WE found a rescue dog this year.  He is a peach.  So many years gone by!  Mike and I are thinking of buying a used RV and driving around the U.S. in winter.  We have six grandchildren , all accomplished in their own way.  My brother Scott and his wife Bonnie moved in next to us about  3 years ago.  Am looking forward to seeing as many old classmates as possible! My wife, Cheryl, and I have been living in Shoreview for the past 28 years. We have two sons; Adam , 25 and Brett, 23 years. After 25 years as a purchasing agent for the State of Minnesota, I retired in 2011. Retirement is great. I live on Lake Wabasso in Shoreview and have a lake home on Boy Lake in Cass county, so I spend most of my time fishing and hunting with my sons, family, and friends. Life has been good the past fifty years and I am looking forward to the adventures of the next fifty. Send Stephen a MessageSend Stephen a Message

Realestate Single
In 1962 I went on a Wild West adventure with Wild men friends Jim Pence and Dave Carlberg.  We spent a month ravenging Ghost towns and haunted Mining camps in Montana.  We left the state only after exhausting our supply of 5000 rounds of .22 ammunition and running out of highway signs that didn't have bullet holes.

The lure of what the American West instilled upon me at age 16,  from it's history, it's spectacular beauty, and rich fokelore, made me choose to "Go West Young Man" as Horace Greeley once said.  I bought a home in Wyoming & Montana  after selling Jay Kline Chevrolet in 1990, leaving the Casino business in '92, selling my commercial realestate, and selling my Bloomington home.

With recent articles in "the Independent Record" from Helena, Mt. and the Billings, Gazette in June of 2014, you can plainly see I am still getting in trouble and having to go to the principles office. Just google, "steve kline Montana" and you'll see I never did grow up!  But really, at our age, who really wants to!!!!
