BreakfastThe AC Hotel serves a European style breakfast for $15 in the lobby that sounded great (much better that your usual hotel buffet) if you'd like to eat at the hotel.If you want a lighter breakfast, there’s also a coffee shop called The Grind across the parking lot where they make their own donuts. There's a Jimmy Johns right next to the coffee shop that opens at 10:30 am. |

Friday Night Meet-upIf you want to start our Reunion on Friday night, please come to the AC Hotel.The hotel has a beautiful modern spacious lobby with floor to ceiling windows and lots of upholstered seating. They open their full bar in the lobby every afternoon at 4:30 and we can order small plates of food and tapas. The woman I talked to said most nights it’s fairly quiet and they would welcome anyone from the Reunion who wanted to drop in, even if they're not staying at the hotel. The AC Hotel DOES NOT have a shuttle to and from the airport, but it's only a 10-minute ride by Uber, Lyft or taxi.
Lost Spur is just across the river to the east, and is only a 10 to 15 minute ride by Uber, Lyft or taxi. The Mall of America is just across 24th Avenue and about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. If you want to save your walking for inside the Mall, you can also get there by Uber, Lyft or taxi. Judy Vicars has some Mall of America Coupon Books and Bloomington information to share.
